The balance (zibånºtu) is not mentioned in any of the other texts concerning weights in this corpus, but a balance is mentioned in YOS 17, 259: 4 (gißzi-ba-ni-tu4), where two bronze bowls are made for it. What is mentioned here is likely a portable balance that was either held or hung by a rope or chain in the middle of its fulcrum.
