Traduction

Trad, Beaulieu : Letter of Nanaya-eres to the satammu and Nabfi-ag-iddin our lords. Daily do I pray to the Lady-of-Uruk and Nanaya for the life of our lords 7-16 I have been keeping the watch over your ox in Udannu. May our lords send the sheep of the months Ululu and Tasritu to Nergal. There are no fattened sheep here. Send fattened sheep to Nergal! Establish a good recommendation for yourself before Nergal! 17-32 The silver, the two shekels of silver which you sent through the agency of Balatu: I returned the silver to our lords. I (also) sent you six ropes and one haliptu vessel through his agency. The bronze kettle sprang a leak as we were preparing the regular offerings in it. There is no small kettle in the temple other than it. May our lords give it over for repair and may the lords send (another) small kettle.
